Turn It Up! (Page 10) I never get sick of this one. Just love the Concrete Blonde songs. And I love it when I hear one in a soundtrack to a movie or a tv series. Youtube suggested this one for me. Doro does a great job but Rob just doesn't sound right. ![]() So glad that this song got dusted off and got introduced to a new generation. I never thought of it as a folk or country song before but it tells a story and usually the country songs do that. I also like that Luke Combs didn't make the song too twangy. And it was just ultra cool to see Luke and Tracey performing the song together. ![]() Yes that was awesome eh. I wish they did *Give Me One Reason* . Still it was nice to see her and she looks and sounds fricken great! Im not sure if I have put this up in here before but it was fun for an oldie. Back when I use to hate this music and tell my parents to turn it down in the car lolol. Damn! ![]() Tracy Chapman does look and sound great! And that smile on her face lights up the room! OMG Tom Jones and Englebert!! Woohoo! Englebert was one of my mom's favourites. Tom not as much. She liked another Tom that was on the Lawrence Welk show better. Needless to say The Lawrence Welk show was on every Sunday afternoon. Memories! ![]() And for the record, I think Tom Jones was cooler than Engelbert. But even cooler...Mr. Frank Sinatra. And now for something completely different. Hadn't heard this one in a few years and stumpled upon it. Still a really good song. I love a song that makes me tap my foot and sway. Just a really smooth, cool song. Let's hear it for the Black Crowes. Geez. The Biebs didn't do too bad on Fast Car. Not bad at all. That Johnny Kemp song reminded me of this one. ![]() | Music Chat Room 41 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
