Rush Snowy_: I like their older music best: Freewill The Spirit Of Radio Tom Sawyer Limelight Subdivisions I don't think these guys were ever given enough credit for their music. LostInTheSeventies: That's not their OLDER music Fly By Night Working Man Bytor and the Snowdog THAT'S the old stuff! Cleveland always loved Rush. In the early days they always knew they had a sold out concert here. About time they got inducted into the rock hall... Snowy_: Hey, to me it is their older stuff. I am not fond of their most recent albums. I see you're sporting another new coat......LOL. I think you may have me beat in the coat dept. LostInTheSeventies: 26 coats and counting! Man, I had of Rush's stuff through the early 80s when I went into the Navy. Their live double album All the World's a Stage was always my favorite. They kick butt live! Snowy_: Pretty amazing musicians. My son was playing their music the other night. I was thrilled. Better than some of the crap out there today. LostInTheSeventies: Well, for Canadian bands, I still like BTO the best They rocked! You know Randy and Turner got together a few years back and did some concerts. Great footage of that on YouTube. LostInTheSeventies: Excellent! I don't do concerts though. I've only two in my life. I just don't get into being around a bunch of strangers singing along to a song I've paid to hear the performers sing. Snowy_: I will have to check that out. I was listening to Burton Cummings the other night, he mentioned working with Bachman in his earlier days. jink88: The Guess Who are probably one on the best bands out of Canada. I have seen them many times in the past. Too bad there was so much fighting between Cummings and Bachman. LostInTheSeventies: They both wanted to lead the band. Bachman is kind of a....well, hard to get along with I hear. But, man, he can play a guitar. Snowy_: I always thought Geddy had such a unique voice as well. Don't know of anyone who sounds like him. | Music Chat Room 21 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
