Anything Goes Songs (Page 6)
Nathaniel Nirvana: yeah, I think its the weather......all the rainy cold dampness......Seattle/Pacific North West US is supposed to be similar, and they had a music boom late 80s/early 90s which affected the world too.
You get a different kinda music from different climate situations........and I guess if its raining outside & youve no job you stay in with the band practising & composing,
Mz Demeanor: Marilyn Manson also does a cover of a Depeche Mode song, Personal Jesus which is, in my opinion, awesome!!
Mz Demeanor: O.k. last one. When this one came out everyone was wondering "what the hell is a vegemite sandwich?"
Mz Demeanor: It doesn't sound that appetizing (brewer's yeast, vegetables and spices) but I'd give it a try....once.
ShawnXx: It's really not bad but someone told me it's scraped off the bottom of a barell ...whatever that means. lol
Mz Demeanor: "Scraped off the bottom of a barrel doesn't sound too appetizing". Kinda sounds too close to "scraped off the bottom of a shoe". lol
Mz Demeanor: Well...this is definitely heading in the sad love song direction. That's just the way it's going. These are just beautiful tug at the heartstring kind of songs. WARNING: Look away if you don't want to see or hear some really mellow, beautiful (perhaps sappy) songs. And there's gonna be more country music. Just one of those moods today. Can't say I didn't warn you.
Mz Demeanor: This may sound like a sad song, but I heard these guys talk about the song and they wrote it because they are happy how their career has gone and that if they were to die now they would feel like they accomplished a lot.
Mz Demeanor: This one is one of the only Sugarland ones I like. Usually, I find her voice a little too twangy.
Mz Demeanor: o.k. last country song and no more sad songs! This one rocks! It should get "southern rock" status.
