what is the best album ever? (Page 2) struanrobertson02: Mmmmm. I'll see. I'll go ahead and suggest the album In The Court Of The Crimson King and Boston by Boston. These two don't have any bad tracks or filler either (maybe Court by a tad, the ending of Moonchild does take a little time but I find it relaxing so whatever I find cool, whatever.) In The Court Of The Crimson King is probably the best progressive album in existance. It's what gets you into Prog rock and was King Crimson' debute album, and their big one. Which in my opinion, King Crimson is also the greatest progressive rock band ever. They influenced Tool and The Mars Volta for heavens sake. No flaws, just a solid magical & mystical trip through a jazzy, spacey and profound ear-marijuana trip of art. In short. Boston (By the band Boston) on the other hand is not very mind blowing, not to put you off of course. It is just as superbly entertertaining with no flaws. Again another fantastic and alltime great debute album, likely Boston's best by far. It is the type of album to make you feel alive and party all night. A true classic, almost every music fanatic I'm sure has heard it on wire club though, because well it was pretty darn populer and still is for newbies to classic rock. Which is why I suggest it, want to get into rock? Listen to this wonderfully delightful ear drumming candy. It will massage your mind. IMO: Possibly Better: King Crimson: In The Court Of The Crimson King. Yes: Close To The Edge Equal: Genesis: Selling England By The Pound Jethro Tull: Thick As a Brick Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here Nas: Illmatic Daft Punk: Discovery A Tribe Called Quest: Low End Theory Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin IV All mind-blowing albums. | Music Chat Room 30 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
