P.S It's ironic that Led Zeppelin, the mother of all cover bands (Not a bad thing in the slightest) is being covered in that video. It's an artists creativity and no one can say that it's stupid  toolsoftrust: Most alternative rock and rap; I include rap since it broke from true-hip hop, which only lasted a few years, removing real drummers and replacing them with the drum machine. You have to keep the drums! haroldguillen: drum machines and voice synthesizers are annoying, don't show the true art of music and vocals, anybody who attempts to sing or hit that high note should do it naturally, show the true nature of their craft, as if they grew up singing. It's actually spelled "Asbury," and it's the name of a city on the Jersey Shore, NOT a cult. haroldguillen: yeah, you're probably right, but I was thinking of the lead singer of the rock band, the strength in his voice is one of the things that inspires me to sing.  rickyagnew: i collect.seriously..everything but rap and hip hop ,reggae..i have tons of everything from the andrews sisters,bing crosby ,the beach boys, the doors ,hendrix, to the talking heads,psychedelic furs,the bangles,david bowie to evanescence,nightwish.adelle,Bruno Mars to Car Patrol to The Killers ,not to mention a lot of the country i have.. not just on cd and vintly but on music video format..I have over 3000 music videos in my collection ,mostly 80's and 90's and 2000's ..what i normally listen to as daily preference however is symphonic metal as in Amberian Dawn,NIghtwish,Tarja Turunen,Epica,Sirenia,Delain,etc.. most of the bands that i would consider stupid are not really stupid..just..not bands that produce real music..mostly RAP..i guess it's music that has no melody..after all..music and melody seem to be equivalent when creation of what we call music is involved..otherwise it's not music..rap is talking ..not much melody that i can tell anyway..it relies on a beat not music notes or keys really..but some people call it music.so yeah..that's stupid (Edited by rickyagnew) | Music Chat Room 24 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
