Saf: Well I think a few good ones have already been mentioned so I might through in a few Australian ones. Bear in mind that these are rock bands, not heavy rock/metal. Might open up some new 'old' music for you all! lol Cold Chisel - 80's (try Khe Sanh, When The War is Over, Saturday Night, Cheap Wine....amongst many)Lead singer was Jimmy Barnes who also had a stand out solo career. Eskimo Joe - recent Split Endz - 80's (is a New Zealand band not Aussie, but close enough) Hunters & Collectors - 80's and 90's (try 'Throw Your Arms Around Me' for a classic rock ballad) Men At Work - 80's John Farnham - 60's to 90's, he crosses closer to balladeer most times, but great voice and some rockier styled songs in amongst it. And last but not least.. Jet. Saf: Sure were...I went through the obligatory INXS stage but don't really listen to much of their stuff anymore.
