wormbullet: Silent films are underrated. I watched The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, it was fantastic, very twisted but what a great story. Almost like watching a Twilight Zone episode.

wormbullet: "That George Bailey has been a boil on my neck long enough". I love that line! Hotdog! Frank Capra was a genius. Check out "You Can't Take it with You". A Capra film with James Stewart and Lionel Barrymore.

wormbullet: Another one of my favourites. "The Little Shop Around the Corner". w James Stewart. The remake was "You Got Mail" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

telicat77: Check out Nitrateville forum. It has the most silent film scholars/collectors/authors anywhere.

thinktank4: I saw 1936 movie Little Lord Fauntleroy and loved it. And anything with Barbara Stanwyck in it.

telicat77: I mostly watch films before 1960s, my values get offended especially with films after 2000.
