50 shades of grey Mill3Rose: I couldn't get through the first 5 pages of the books because the prose was kinda for tweens, but I did like the movie: it shot like one long, sexy commercial for a luxury car, lol! But, as we all suspected, they weren't able to adapt the book for the big screen- there was nothing scandalous about the sex scenes, they showed nothing, were far too short and it seems like the macho Christian Grey doesn't have any genitals. An episode of 'Shameless US' is more erotic hoverj2: I'd have think it would have been more appropriate give it the title "50 Shades Of Black And Blue LOL White_Bunny: I just saw the movie on blue ray a bit of a disappointment, the best part was when Christian left some aspirin and water on the night stand for Anastasia with sign that read " eat me, drink me" I got a good laugh from that. bumbumbeebee: i did not read the book, I did watch the movie. One person asked me if I thought it was pornish risque, and I replied, "Quite frankly, it was not much hotter than Top Gun." I did not think it was that hot. ALTHOUGH, I continued, I did not read the book, but if this was a true Dom/Sub relationship I have issues with not knowing if she signed the contract. if she did not sign the contract then it is a bull shit movie and he is stalking her, which, to my understanding, Doms do not stalk. They want the other person to willingly participate. So.... If any one read the book, did she sign it, and if there are true Doms out there, is that correct? Damien Windsor: I haven't read the book. But saw the movie. I probably should have done the opposite. lol I thought the movie should have been made as a "Director's Cut" version. It was too tame, in my opinion. But hey, I am sure the second part will be more "visual" than the first --- if you all get where I am going with this. bumbumbeebee: I cheated and googled it. Apparently this whole book and movie are more flawed than my make up regimen. | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
