What's your favorite movie, and why? (Page 9) (Post deleted by psychodelish ) (Post deleted by psychodelish ) psychodelish: Choosing a favorite movie is like trying to choose a favorite band or song or body type/part or piece of art or favorite food, book. I cant tag anything as a favorite. streaky: Chato’s Land Charles Bronson played his tight-lipped self well, but Simon Oakland and Jack Palance were awesome! davidrichards6263: Fun cheech.chong.loved first venture thru wardrobe with edmond.lucy.scare face.casino(hard)midnight express.hanibal.ye I am old.dont do movies.but If try.I love them all.ok..mm..think my best is cookoos nest..raw..oh.an green mile.them I will watch over again lfMkO: Now (cause it changes)... instinctual i'll say :" People vs Larry Flint " 'cause is cool. Elico47: I'd say my most memorable and possibly favourite movie.., and there are a few to name, is " To kill a mockingbird" , I watched it at a young age, and it scared me, but the acting and plot was what kept me going and taught me to look at the truth in everything.. I hope Hollywood doesn't do a remake of this wonderful movie, so far they've screwed up every remake. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Kill_a_Mockingbird_(film) kylieMcNulty: most would say agh loser but idk how the movie is called it was about Native Americans who fought for their culture many died but then at the end they helped the Natives to get their land back if you see how they are one with nature and accept everyone you wonder why they once were hated and why they tried to extinct them cofr828: Withnail and I....I was living in London in 1995-1996. My family had visited me for the weekend...they had tickets to see a musical in I think the shaftsbury theatre..they wanted me to go with them....not my scene, coupled with the "bastard behind the eyes" that I then suffered. I walked by a cinema. Withnail and I was just starting... I'd never heard of the movie before...it was back in the cinema for its 10th anniversary, after becoming a cult classic of sorts. From the moment I sat down to the time I left I laughed and laughed. It's a cinema experience that's stayed with me since. I remember how crap I was feeling and just wanting somewhere to sit for 2 hours or so before meeting up with my family again (for round 2 of of the inebriated). I'm not someone who quotes the lines in a futile attempt to impress (aside from the quote herein!!), but I like to see it a few times a year as it reminds me of a time in my life long since past! | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
