Best Trilogy (Page 3)
abstrectchrist: ok, this thread had it coming...
now then for my submission: Takeshi Miike's Black Society Trilogy.
ozmos: hmm, no starwars nerds here ay, well I'd have to go with the original Starwars trilogy, episodes IV V and VI. Uncool as it may seem.
xxzero: kevin smith also made in the first clerks movie something similar to Clerks 2 LOTR Vs. Star Wars dialogue...
Clerks Clip - Jedi Politics
calybonos: .....either that or
Debbie Does Dallas
Debbie Does The Doberman Gang
Debbie Does The WalMart Greeters
calybonos: Since we mentioned Clint Eastwood & Dirty Harry.....
How about the man with no name trilogy
Fistfull of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More...my favorite
The Good the Bad and the Ugly
StuckInTheSixties: Calybonos, I tried the porn flick trilogy humor a page or two back, and it failed there too. I don't know why. I would have thought a joke about the "Ass Blasters" trilogy would incite a little bit of laughter, but apparently only you and I share that particular joke. (shrugs)
xxzero: "Ass Blasters" and "Debbie Does"...the remake (not squels) versions made a few years ago never got the same level of quality of the original in my opinion...
also another trilogy not mentioned here "pirates of the caribbean"...
..curse of the black pearl..dead man's chest..at world's end..
calybonos: oops sorry SITS....didn't mean to repeat the man with no name trilogy
guess I was too lazy to read the whole thread...
shame on me
azer786: i liked the first pirates movie, part 2 was so lame, ther just wasnt enough story and relied too much on the effects...
i cant believe no-one has mentioned Mission Impossible trilogy !
da firt film was great, if a little complicated, part 2 was more straightforward but not as thrilling...part 3 was way better dan 2 and kicked some life back into it and Tom Cruise does action really well !
