no country for old men argente: i'd agree with you, the film had the makings of a good movie but the ending was just as if they had run out of money and film, my theory is that the film makers left it that way so it would be easy to make a second film starting off where this one ended. Elives: i think the cohen brothers are up to something. fargo was supposedly a true story. it wasn't. some poor oriental woman flew to minni and spent the rest of her life and savings looking for the non existing case. i regress. they are going to market a directors cut, as soon as sales slow down, with the alternate ending..........but then what do i know. PTBO52: Anything with Tommy Lee Jones is always interesting and I love his humour. What about the Soprano's ending? You wait when someone needs the exposure and cash there will be more. jukeboxmusic: This film was brilliant, one of the best i've seen in a long time... until the shit ending. What was with that? Did they just wake up and couldn't be bothered finishing the movie so just came up with this shit ending? Goran: how do you end a movie in which one of the characters represents Death, Grim Reaper himself? Death cannot be killed? The movie is not a straight forward shooter... it's a movie about choice, chance, fate, and death. sacramten: The movie ends in the same way the book did. Any other way it would be sacrilege. I say rent it and watch the ending with subtitles and just carefully listen to the words. Everyone will come away with something different, but that's the beauty of this movie. KidBlaze98: I didn't like it at first. everyone was getting a Bonner about it, so I deiced to see what was up. The beginning and the middle were really cool, but the ending kinda lost me. I still kinda like it, but it's not on of my favorites | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
