Goran: saw it in 3d and didn't want it to end. most people around me were seeing it for third or fourth time.

Icy_Uranus: Over rated in my opinion. Sure the special effects were out of this world, it was a visually brilliant film, but the story line was just a typical Hollywood rehash. It was really predictable. Boy from wrong side of tracks (or in this case different species) meets girl, betrays girl, falls in love and realises mistake, fights to win girl back, beats bad guy, lives happily ever after. Yawn. I've seen this movie 50 times before just in different settings.

Sean118: You're telling me dances with wolves with blue cgi cat people is the best movie ever?...Yeah, no. Pretty? Yes. Cool technology? Yes. A good movie? Not so much...Maybe as a silent series of random still frames for a screen saver it would be better.

yossic00: Avatar is a racist movie. It shows a bunch of colored people that can't help themselves; they need the white man to come and rescue them.

Sean118: ...Multi-layered? The damn thing had the same plot as the 20 movies before it with that plot. I knew how it was going to play out from the freaking trailers... Clearly you must not be thinking a whole lot or be thinking that deeply...

JanaeJade: I saw it for the first time last night and was very entertained. At first I thought it was going to be one of those extremely politically-leaning movies (save the rain forest kind of crap), but it revealed more layers - which helped keep my attention. Overall, I liked it.

Icy_Uranus: Not only is it a rip off of Fern Gully, Pocahontas and Dancing with Wolves (amongst others), there is now a Chinese dude who wants to sue James Cameron for ripping off his novel called Tales of the Blue.
