deacon7771: I am in one, 31 years married, and I STRONGLY do not recommend marrying outside your own culture or race. When we got married we thought it was wonderful "exotic" maybe, and we both tried to be part of each other's lives, but people are who they are, and they always do revert back to who or what they were over time, the cultural divide is way too much for us. If I had it to do over again, I would have married someone from my own country, who was educated to a similar level, and preferable from the same region of the country - someone who I could have an intelligent conversation with.
Matty66: Was in one. People are people, if you are attracted to someone, then that is what matters.
Society will always be full of opinions. I think that religions and many cultures still dictate and place pressure to maintain the status quo- otherwise their religion/ culture would die out.
If there is a spark.- then fan the flame I say!
