Some people like married because they don't have to commit to that person. Some younger people like the maturity that comes with age. An oedipus complex is about the mother. It's similar but not the same. As far as talking to another married person it a personal trait that is common in a lit of people. Especially men because men at times can think its not manly to talk about some things. AJ Cali: @ Monica63t I find a lot of women like the allure of a married man tbh. Even the ones in their 20s  The giant midget: Married women have the experience of a relationship, the ups and downs and sideways of it To me it's that commitment that kicks my curiosity about her , I want to know about her ,start a conversation with her get to know her , the flirting that's my allure. I can talk about everything and anything respectfully with any married woman. For some reason I happen to attract the younger generation more than the gals my age  Dreamer326: for me it would be because they are married as I am and hopefully not looking to change that. having said that I am also attracted to single women who understand that I am married and not looking to change my status.
