Is sex ever a hobby? (Page 4) Driller01: I think too many people confuse sex with love. Good hard core sex can definitely be a hobbies, as long as all partners agree that it's just for fun. When you find the person that wins your heart, it's a whole new ball game, makin love, when it's true love, makes you forget about all your hobbies!!  TwoRidersWereApproac: Different strokes for different folks (pun semi-intended). I do not see sex in the same category as stamp collecting or golf. By the same token, it certainly can be a lifestyle for some. Not for me. Don't get me wrong, even at my age it is thrilling and fun. But I enjoy the things that go along with intimacy besides sex.  AretoNyx: I guess one can be intimate with themselves. Some times I just want company and other times I want to be alone. Though when it comes to sex ...it really is just not connected to anything else but sex for me. Like eating food is just eating food. What would any one do if they could never have sex again? I don't know if some could stay healthy without some form of release but asexual types might be fine without it. It would be fun if I could safely share such a hobby in caring for those that I am with in any way, and no strings attached. However still married and such seems unrealistic. So self release it is. AretoNyx: My husband can't as he use to with heart meds. I just hope all are finding happiness they desire even with good relationships and safe sex. I don't want broken hearts. Still, for me, it gets lonely.  guycool43: Areto... desires can be taken care of in by self indulgence nothing wrong with it. One can have a participant in his or her fantasy for a good cause without breaking anyone's heart. A good hobby  nelld815: I love sex. And made it a career at one point. Then when in relationships I explained fully. They let me carry on to earn. I earned and played with rules.  Jonah_Kyle: As a 64 year-old man, I haven't dated nor married in my life since I was in my 20's. Part of it is that most women are looking for super-alpha males, and I don't fit that type. In any case, I don't mind chatting about sex, but it's the doing part that is difficult without adequate ability to find partners. |
