bone health? or? Trail_7: today i got up onto my feet and they felt weak - i don't know if i am lacking in calcium. The doctor never told me I am. But i rarely drink milk and i don't think i get the recommended calcium intake from my other research either. solittle: Calcium supplements should not be too expensive. Buy a small bottle of them, and try taking them daily. That should either help your bone situation, or rule out calcium deficiency if your legs still feel weak after a few months of taking them daily. The weakness you felt might also be muscular, or just from general fatigue. (Edited by solittle) Trail_7: Well they didn't feel weak the next day or after that too so does that rule out calcium deficiency? solittle: Has this happened before, or just this one time? Did this feeling of weakness last for a few seconds, or did it continue for minutes or longer? If it was just this one time, and only a few seconds of feeling weak, then it's probably nothing, maybe lack of sleep or lack of food. Trail_7: At least a few seconds to a minute perhaps even. But I sat down to rest my legs at that point. Trail_7: A massage therapist told me I have good legs by feeling them but also told me my calfs are quite tight! solittle: Maybe some stretching exercises each day might help. If it lasts less than a minute, I doubt it's a calcium deficiency. | Health Chat Room Similar Conversations |
