straywlf: Yes it is possible. Every situation is different and each couple has different needs. The longer couples are together the less important sex is. Affection can be shown in other ways.

A male with a high sex drive will get very depressed without sex.
I have been married 30yrs, after 15yrs we started dabbling in 3sums, a year or so after my wife started the menopause - then everything changed, her personality and a total loss in sex!!!
Lasted as long as I could without sex but got too much, so I had no choice but to look outside of the marriage for what I was lacking, so for the past two years I have had a lover.

karlball777: Not me Misunderstood, I'm a positive person, bit qhen you've had a good sex life with your wife and then it suddenly stops, yet your sex drive is high, it gets you down that your wife seemingly has no desires for you, frustrating too when ladies make it plain obvious they like you but your in two minds as to whether to act on it as you still love your wife.
I left it as long as I possibly could, even got antidepressants from the Dr.
