Multivitamins

LaurenCosplays
LaurenCosplays: What's everyone's opinion on multivitamins? I've heard mixed stuff from how awesome they are to total waste of money!

I know my diet could be way better, but do you all recommend vitamins?

Karen33405: I take a multivitamin in the morning along with fish oil. Since the pandemic started, to strengthen my immune system, Iā€™m also taking a stress tablet contains B-complex, zinc and vitamin C. I take that 12 hours after the multivitamin to spread it out.

LaurenCosplays: Thanks for the replies! Seen a lot of 'waste of money' stuff when I Googled it ages ago. Then, when the apocalypse happened, the same places were like 'take vitamin D' šŸ¤£

The giant midget
The giant midget: A good balanced healthy diet of fruits ,vegetables, beef ,pork ,poultry and fish homecooked meals beats any vitamins
.stay away from artificial flavoured drinks or juices.
Drink wine and plenty of water instead.
Stay away from industrial baked goods, specially their breads ,,they are mostly full of chemicals that's why their products have a very long store shelves duration. the best breads are from your local bakeries ,made fresh everyday
Vitamins are a waste of money in my opinion
It's not how much you eat or drink
It's what you eat and drink that's important.

The giant midget
The giant midget: It's still better than popping some vitamin down your throat , local farmers seem to have great product in a big variety.
Shop locally when possible, avoid stock market backed supermarkets.

The giant midget
The giant midget: I was born and raised on a beef cattle farm in northern Canada and after moving into the metropolitan areas as a young guy I always tried to purchase the natural local grown produce and my meats.it might cost abit more but it's to my health benefit in the long term. Maybe it was my upbringing that has me cooking and eat the homecooked meals, my own kids are the same way .i am trying my hardest to get my girlfriends preteens to follow the rest of us .
The industrial food processors, the pharmaceutical industry and the fast food chain enterprises would definitely go bankrupt with me.
I think that the last time I took prescription medications was around 1987
Eat healthy and everything will be just perfect

seventhwatcher: I recommend the Garden of Life brand for multivitamins.

Probiotics, prebiotics, digestive enzymes, and a raw food blend packed with just about everything. Bottles say take 3, I usually only take one or two.

I think the ones like this are more beneficial as they is increased bioavailability, and it's more of an extract than synthetic.
