Australian medical experts have made a breakthrough in the potential new treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, using immunotherapy.

It promises to give relief to MS sufferers who've had little or no treatments available.

MS effects the central nervous system and spinal cord.

But a world-first trial conducted by Queensland researchers has produced promising results in 60 per cent of patients, some whose MS was previously untreatable.
