Marijuana: The Miracle Drug (Page 2)
Metaverseguy: Could just be your own personal response to the drug. In the white house they are considering whether or not to remove it from the controlled substance act or just let each state write their own laws about it like alcohol.
Metaverseguy: I don't think it's the worst thing once in awhile if you're an adult, but obviously it's not the best idea to walk around acting like a zombie all the time. We can make a lot of stupid decisions this way.
Metaverseguy: I knew one guy who was discharged less than honorably for marijuana, but he was pretty nuts. He was smuggling cocaine in his car and after he got out he bragged that he stole a few luxury cars before stopping.
I feel like it's already legal in a lot of places. With a medical marijuana card you can grow your own plant and own a lot of it and it's easy to get a card. Critics say it's a hallucinogen, but I never really hallucinated on it. It just slowed down my perception of things, made me paranoid, and got me a short high, then I passed out. I didn't go schizo and have auditory/visual hallucinations like some people suggest.
Most Valuable Player: gunja for life, make the world a happy place and legalize it, boooyaaaahhhh time to paaarrrrtaaaaayyyyy foooolllllsss puff puff pass pass, its that bong that never ends it smokes on and on my friend, some people started smoking it not knowing what it was, and they will continue smoking it forever just because, it the bong that never ends.......smoke da herb and it reveals you to your self, i wanna get high so high, i am high, look in the sky the moons a giant pie um la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la, arrrrrrggggggggghhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Most Valuable Player: it depends how powerful da weed you smoke to get a hallucination , smoking bush you usually just get eye stoned, hydro will get you eye stoned and strong body stoned, it depends if they flush the fertilizer out weeks before harvesting the bud, because if the don't that's when you can get ill effects like head aches and hallucinations, yeah i have seen some scary shit on really powerful stuff, but most of the time its just cruzy eye smashed
Metaverseguy: Reefer Madness is playing today on showtime. Just shows how ignorant they were back then about the drug (circa 1936).
Marijuana Helps 6-Year Old Beat Severe Epileptic Seizures
Marijuana has recently gained some attention for helping a 6-year old boy to beat severe epileptic seizures, changing his life positively and profoundly.
Metaverseguy: i wonder if wireclub rod gives over the databases to some type of committtee to check the keywords like facebook, google, etc. because mj flags a msg to dept of homeland security here. but if the servers are in canada then it's out of jurisdiction, right? ahh but the extradition laws. can't forget that.
Metaverseguy: nonetheless the last 3 presidents have admitted to drug use. so if you have a bad lawyer you can get a long jail sentence, but if your clever u can be elected president. such hypocrisy.
not only that, but mj can be beneficial for certain diseases like crohns and others. oh well it's legal here medically. that's a big step. altho a few cities have banned the sale of the drug.
it could take like only month to write up laws that make it similar to alcohol. why don't they just do that?
GONZO_JOURNALISM: One of the main reasons it's not legal, is because big pharma knows that it actually helps patients with minimal side effects, AND most importantly, they do not own/nor ever will, the patents on various genetic strains.
Metaverseguy: I picked up some cannibas magazine, which was suprisingly well informed, scientific, and well-written. They even had statistics info in there that I could understand from studying the math. I was surprised that there are so many strains of the plant. Yea so many people focus on the abuse of the drug, but there are clearly beneficial uses for it too. It's practically the same thing as alcohol. If people would just be reasonable and say thoughtful things about it without talking out of their ass like nearly every news media outlet then we could regulate it. Yea alcohol has side effects. Weed has side effects. Big deal. No one eats french fries? People don't abuse alcohol? Give me a break.
