Healthcare system in Canada

USEtheUSER: People in Canada are in desperate need of more efficient healthcare system.
The fact of waiting for 6-8 hours in Hospitals is nonsence, and the act of making people waiting for so long in pain, in a way is sadism.

What do you think about that?

Hyenablood: it is bad, here in winnipeg a native man in a wheelchair died after waiting in a emergency room for more than 10 hours (not sure how long he was there for )
Also a elderly woman (or man) died of a heart attack in the waiting room as their partner parked the vehicle.
these events happened years ago but they serve to remind people that our healthcare system is lacking in alot of areas. Such tragics should not happen in Canada.

USEtheUSER: Quebec the same situation...people started miss using the system...they are calling ambulance on site for minor health problems...just because they dont want to wait...and it leads to a dangerous situations where its possible to wait an ambulance vehicle on site for emergency for 30 and more minutes.
