To lose weight... (Page 4)
DarkKnightbc: Another diet post full of "experts" most do not have a clue what they are talking about
junyabee: I had a conversation with a VAMedCtr nutritionist. The reason we're told to have something to eat every 4-5 hours to keep up our metabolism, is because after 4-5 hours our body goes into 'hunger-mode' fat storage. ALSO, Our body can only handle 750calories every 4-5 hours to fully digest them. If we have a 'big (calorie-filled) meal' over 750 cals, the body will store the excess away in our adipose (fat) tissue. Our body, past a certain age, needs around 1600calories a day. Eat per meal up to 500 to 750 calories (for 3 meals per day) every 4-5 hours, but no more than 750 calories.
Plus also give your heart at least 20-30 mins of of aerobic stress. The nutritionist, who is also a physical trainer, recommended that laying on your back, or reclined up, and pumping your legs in a bicycle motion for that amount of accumulative time would cover that need, at a minimum.

psychodelish: yes ^^. and envisioning yourself obtaining your goals, goal, any goal. paint mental images of where and how you see yourself. mental preparation and awareness is another key to unlocking success, consciously placing yourself in a state of positive mental awareness. its widely agreed upon, for motivational enhancement. it will root subconsciousness will eventually follow. there are strong theories regarding the power of your subconscious mind and how it can effect your physical being even cure physical and mental ailments and how it can take you to a higher conscious state of being, picture yourself an over weight slob of sorts and mean it, and you will become one. picture yourself fit and fine, train yourself to, if not only for its motivational value also for its true power over the human body. watch it make your metabolism go zoom zoom fatso
Chissai: I agree with wingnutz, if you’re output is greater than your intake then you will lose weight.
psychodelish: There are good carbs and bad carbs. You want to cut the BAD carbs, that are tpically loaded with processed sugars, Those are your real enemy. Not only do they show, but behind the scenes they tax your immune system. They are detrimental other ways too.
Take in more or less of the good carbs that are essential. They will actually aid in building a stronger metabolism (and help hold on to lean muscle instead of burning more of it) so that you burn more calories in the long haul. And have an easier time controlling how much fat your body stores. Stay away from fad diets. Following those puts you at risk of holding even more fat in the long run, more than you started with. Thats why people run to them time after time. The best advice I can give is do speak with a professional seeking thorough advice and dieting guidelines that suit your genetics and lifestyle. Do it the right way and chances are it will become easier and easier to control what your body does. Its not as complicated as people make it. Misinformation leads to being misguided frustration, and let down. Another failed "diet". I never liked hearing the term diet being used as a way to lose fat. Everything consists of a diet. There are good balanced nutritional diets, and then there are bad diets. The net can be a blessing and a curse also.
Searchonglostfrndask: When all the above helpful statements doesn't work then what to do besides starving and skipping meals.. which works ..
Fog Swept Glade: It‘s cutting & the insurance you can keep moving with cinnamon or argenine. It isn‘t bulking with human growth hormone. What I found out was that my body was just modified with activity anyway.
Searchonglostfrndask: Noone has to do this .... its just a suggestion ..
I was fat and frustrated : I am trying by cycling indoors
(beginning fat burning work out)
Even though they are going fast .
I worked my cycling really slow because I was very out of shape .
Then during the breaks I stretched my legs :
Tried to have cold water
I buy vitamin D Vitamin C Vitamin B Iron
Then a multiple vitamin.
I couldn't afford the multiples and stuck with the B,C Iron,D :at the dollar store :
I feel so much better :
at first I tried yoga and cardio and gained 7 pounds I had began to eat breakfast then also and greens .
I was at a extreme exhaustion so frustrated.
Then there was this bicycle I had in the garage:
For indoors :
I began exercising very slowly :
I had a doctors appointment then I noticed I lost 2 pounds .
It was only 2 - 3 exercises :
I ate breakfast because my body was imbalanced because I starved myself in the mornings and had a late lunch or dinner:
I always tried to eat after 1pm or 2 pm:
I was extremely enemic and my body was unbalanced: I knew starving made me loose weight :
So even after eating breakfast I lost 2 pounds : when in the very past I would gain 5-6 pounds eating breakfast :
I began eating oatmeal and barley in the mornings I switched to cheerios . now I eat a hamburger patty and a egg . I have incorporated kale : Also raw baby spinach for my salads:
Still loosing 2 pounds :
Then I had a other doctors appointment and saw I lost another 2 pounds I still stayed consistent and slow on my indoor bicycle :
Now I go medium and turn my notch to two on my indoor bicycyle :
So I'll know when I go to the doctor how much more weight I lost :
Im excited to know :
