Energy Drinks holden_j_caulfield: Each day that I work, I normally knock-back two cans of energy drinks. I find them to work, and work well. However, on Saturday, I had two cans of Monster and found it difficult 'coming-down,' if you will. I do not like hot drinks which is why I dont drink coffee or tea. My coworkers are always giving my a difficult time about the energy drinks, but can never back it up with fact. Opinions, please... holden debbiewheeler: There are energy drinks called REV3 that are all natural. You can check them out on my website. They have the cans that are carbonated and they have the powder packets that you can take to work and they taste like iced tea. They give you more energy and they also help with fibromyalgia where they have a lot of pain. My website is http://weightlossnutritionskincare.usana.com RSX_Girl: Energy Drinks are terrible for you. All the sugar and caffeine in them is not good for you at all. My husband drinks them a lot and I'm constantly giving him crap for it. Getting the proper amount of sleep each night, getting in to a routine, taking vitamins, eating healthy are a far better way to go than to drink something so bad for you, not to mention they taste like crap. debbiewheeler: Rick says: I have two testimonials from people that have used their products. 31 August 2008 at 8:39 pm I heard about the Rev3 Product from USANA and I am glad and excited to see they now carry a energy drink. I trust every product that USANA make, because their products, the reset kit and the mutilvitamins have saved my life. I am 44 years old and i am healthier than ever. I cant wait to try the REV3 energy drink. I would pay anything if the quality of product is good. Rick Alyssa says: 1 September 2008 at 11:47 am I was also at the convention this week and “usetherod” couldn’t be more off the mark. I am a breast cancer survivor and the USANA products have saved my life. I was skeptical of the energy drink before I tried it. I hate the taste of energy drinks and I hate the crash and burn effect you get from other energy drinks. I tried Rev 3 fully thinking that it would be disgusting and give me the shakes like everything else and it absolutely DID NOT. Before judging a company that you obviously know NOTHING about you should actually TRY the products. If you tried the products, consistently, for one-two months you would have a change of heart, too. That’s the only reason I am involved with USANA now. I tried the products and saw the change in myself. Others saw the change in me. I just want to share a wonderful product with others and improve their health. You can’t stand back and judge something that you know nothing about. It’s irresponsible. So if you like to drink the energy drinks and would like to try it and see how it works for you, check out my website at http://weightlossnutritionskincare.usana.com chronology: Health Activists across America have slammed most Energy Drinks, and with good reason. The active ingredients are sugar and caffeine. The problem is with the amount of sugar in the drinks. Your pancreas just cannot handle that amount of sugar flooding into the blood stream. And you soon grow tolerant of the caffeine and need bigger doses to get a kick. There are plenty of web sites with information about these drinks. Milly1407: Chronology I agree with you with regards to energy drinks and the advertising they use to push these drinks for the younger market is on a par almost with the tobacco companies ... they know they are not good for people !!! Topsyturvy: I can't drink energy drinks as they not only make me bounce off the walls, i get come downs, get dehydrated etc. If i have a red bull or equivelent in the morning, and a difficult diagrosis Auto electrical job comes in, i can't fix it. Just can't keep my mind on a logical plain. The need for energy drinks can only be an indication of poor diet, and mental health. candy twist: Them energy drinks don't do a thing for me. I can drink cans of redbull but no effect still feel drained & tired beingsocial: My favourite energy drink is Isagenix's Want More Energy! It keeps me energized for the day. Horrible sleeping habits thanks to that as well. I started taking vitamins that are different from anything else i had tried shockingly enough they freakin worked. lol. never been good with taking vitamins but i like these. i got more energy throughout the day i feel better and i like there energy bars that are natural and they have hydrating drinks and over 300 other products that people use everyday. Wouldn't dream of shopping anywhere else i love it. But anytime i drank energy drinks i always felt like my heart was going to fast and my hands would shake so i never really drank them.
