Tea Tree oil is fantastic for everything!! I always keep a bottle of it in the house.

beamer67ca: My brother in law was diagnosed with hepatitis C years ago. He sought out almost every type of " alternative " therapies that he could find. Guess what, he still developed cirrhosis of the liver which developed into liver cancer. Ignoring conventional medicine and turning to a " Natural Alternative " did nothing for him and possibly aggravated his situation.
He got lucky as he needed a liver transplant and they found one for relatively quickly. He is healthy and doing fine.
Through the ages snake oil salesmen have taken on many different identities but the end results have always been the same. Beware!

Teece: I agree Beamer that for serious illnesses such as Hepatitis Medical intervention should be sought.
Anyone that would depend wholly on alternative remedies for a potentially life threatening illness
is either very brave or very misinformed.
Having said that, I have a friend with Hepatitus C that was diagnosed years ago as well. She has always been under medical care for it and yet just recently she also has been diagnosed with cirrhosis and has been undgoing a brutal treatment (very like chemo) for it.
I am afraid that medical intervention cannot always cure nor prevent the onset of related illnesses either...

My number one problem is, if Pfsier or whatever they're called claims their pills cure cancer, theres a certain ammount of liablity behind that claim. But "natural redemies" are not under the same level of scrunity- and because of that, as a quick glance at some of them on the internet proves, there are plenty of people selling herbal and natural redemies under the idea that they cure cancer, stops your husband from cheating, and makes you jump ten feet in the air. And thats really why you hear such astounding things from these "cures"- because legally, the pharm. companies must actually prove they can do what they claim they do- while the herbal industry MAKES SHIT UP.

Homeopath and naturapathic are one side. Though there are endangered animals because alternative meds, and black salve to Jilly Juice causing more health problems.
Alternative meds are not better or cute alls.
