Depression (Page 6) struanrobertson02: How to cure depression, listen to Yes. I know, I can't shut up about music and the bands I like but really, I not so long ago (A few months at most) had minor depression, I say minor because It was really just me being a crybaby with jealousy, but maybe, just maybe Yes's music can cure all levels of depression, they are honestly the happiest music I've ever came across, and when I had this 'depression' Yes's Relayer and Fragile carried me through and made me happy again, within only minutes, and the first song on Relayer is like 18 minutes so theirs plenty! Yes have a really deep emotional connection, everything about them is designed for excitement and joy. Tool or Lamb Of God are also good if you like the more hardcore, heavy emo approach more. The only problem with this idea is that Yes are quite hard to get into for quite a few people, so starting with Fragile is a good entrance. Something small would usually trigger it; an ill eye from someone, or someone being judgmental; or a negative environment; or a personal fault. Then the negative thought would progress--"It's all because God is justly judging me." And then the downward spiral. I have found that the only way to defeat it is to nip it in the bud before it sets in, usually with words from Scripture. | Health Chat Room Similar Conversations |
