schizophrenic (Page 2) some people that reply to this forum mention they know people that is Schizo. I just wonder r they on meds? Do it work 4 them? If not why? Like i said aunts are schizo one of my aunt have a needle once a month to stop it. Also the way u people talking about schizo, the most important thing that help them the most are loving family and friends that around. So other words as long u have loving people/or pet around being schizo is not so bad? what do you mean sal the way we are talkin about them like i said my sis has it and you woulkd never know if you met her she takes her meds and we know the symptoms if her meds stop workin but other wise we dont even mention it Vince,I think you need MEDS......My mother take MEDS,and i take MEDS?????????????????? So do a lot of other people!!!!!!!!!!!! vince.... there really are people who need to take meds.... you try living with an illness that can make you do awful things to yourself and others. you can't spot a person who takes meds.... thats just egotistical. if you want to progress to a higher spiritual level you will have to realise this. shut the hell up vince not everyone is the same on meds you tool god people like you piss me off my sis is exactly the same as before she was on meds can you imagine if i said to my patients your possesd by an alien??!!! ![]() Vince: where are you coming from Man? IT IS AN ILLNESS!!! Do some research before you go any further, are you in some cult????????? he has obviously never been affected by it in anyway and lives in a different world to us!!! Schizophrenia is a mental illness, and can be detected with a brain scan. Sure you could go with the "demonic possession" theory, but evidence points toward an abnormality of the brain, since it can be physically seen. Schizophrenia is a serious condition, and should be treated. And yes, I do very strongly believe schizophrenics need to be on meds in order to keep them in more of a sane place. The exorcisms Vince claims he saw were probably very reminiscent of religious freaks wiggling around after Benny Hinn hits them with his coat (see religious forum topic: religious freaks). Salt: I know a lot of people with schizophrenia... it sadly runs in my family, too. I believe my mom is schizo, but she hasn't been formally diagnosed as one yet because she refuses to go to the doctor. You're right, schizos are defined by erratic behavior and beliefs, and see/hear things that don't really exist. In my mom's case, she sees worms crawling on her when she's in a really bad bout. Oh, and my mom is SUPER religious so...there goes the whole "possession" thing. She also lives her entire life believing its one conspiracy after another against her. They definitely live in the "its me against the world" mentality. Schizophrenia sets in usually around early twenties in adults (I'm pretty confident I'm in the clear), but can set in during later years of life as well. Everyone is different though with there craziness. Manic Depression can cause times of schizophrenic behavior, but it comes and goes rather than being a permanent state of existence. what in the name of the tiny baby jesus is this person on about wants to stop the mushrooms and watchin horror films coz its obvious he cannot separate fact and fiction yeah i am off to tell chels that she hasnt go schitzophrenia she is just possesed or actin | Health Chat Room Similar Conversations |
