Dad-issues-warning-brother after brother-drives-30-miles to kill him over an Grand theft Auto

EviIs
EviIs: A dad has issued a warning after his brother drove 30 miles to issue death threats with a baseball bat - because he had killed his character in GRAND THEFT AUTO.

The father-of-two says people are confusing computer games with reality after his older sibling arrived on his doorstep threatening to kill him, his wife and kids.

The man, in his 20s, who doesn't want to be named, said his sibling, in his 30s, launched the attack because he'd killed his character in the popular GTA game.

He was forced to call the police after his brother travelled from Okehampton in Devon to Plymouth and started screaming through his letterbox.

The stuff he said was atrocious so i won't type them here although i will state that you can copy the title into google and read the story for yourselves if interested.

What i wanted to do was start a conversation about how seriously people are taking the net and how dangerous it can become for our youngsters inside the gaming worlds that we used see as safe. Also what can gamers and chatters as well do to help keep the next generations from re-enacting or living out these online forms of entertainment?

Blu_Crystal: DRAW THE LINE, with big, black old marker: THIS side is online or in games, THAT side is fo real-life situations. The two DO NOT MIX. Therefore, the appropriate reaction to the above scenario would be for the brother who got 'killed' in the game to turn around and 'kill' the other IN THE GAME.

cms11: No doubt, I saw wat you did there. I was actually referring to the OP.

I'll be the first to admit that I can be a crybaby @ times but this $#!T is ridiculous.

Anyone think the company in possession of his soul and console allegiance will deactivate his system and ban his online membership for this? Thought he was pissed before?
