World Of Warcraft Brookala: It's 2am, i have work today (sunday) but i can't get off WoW cause it's just to freaken awesome ! otcclass2010: *laughs* no wonder BLIZZARD is making so much money.... *lol* Just hope that you were able to get off it so you were not able to lose your job... don't wish to do that.. if you did then you may have to quit playing WOW due to not having enough money for (1) Internet (2) rent (3) WOW subscription... *lol* otcclass2010: I am pleased to hear that you were able to get to work ontime so you could still be able to play WOW... And yes.. I do have to agree with you...it is very, very addicting....cant wait until next month when I can start playing once more.... otcclass2010: You could say that.... also do to the fact that my husband and I are moving to our new place this weekend and wont have the Internet up and going. We moved from Missouri to Arizona.. ElectricPotato: Yeah I'd like to get more into the game myself but apparently you have to get the game and pay for the subcription. I wonder if its like that for alot of online pc games or just this one. How much does it cost all of you people anyway? just want to know a ruff ballpark on what I would be spending if I got into this game . CinnamonCoffee: Mh, I pay 13€ per month. That may be much money BUT: just one visit at a cinema including popcorn and softdrink costs more than a whole month of wow. You just have to put it in the correct relationships. *g* MABanks: I burnt out on WoW.... Realized after I separated from my wife, I really didn't like WoW much at all really....sad huh? 3 years I played that game, and honestly, I can't say I miss it. Still, I wonder if I would have liked Cat.... flashie: its gaming c%*^&. i ave a friend in his 50s who used to play warcraft 3 alot. when he got a new puter i told him to get wow. He did, and instead of going to work he'd spend weeks fishing and collecting herbs in wow. His sister was staying at his house and moved because she said it was like living alone, apparently tony wouldnt listen to her and just told her stuff like 'i just found some herb its worth such snd such' when she said 'hey tony, the house is on fire' eventually i got a copy of wow and started playing, my housemate started too. he'd played alot before and knew what you need most regards levelling up etc. he'd play till 4am, sleep for 1hr or 2 then goto work. he says he's been in hospital for wow making him ill twice. he kept hassling me to join his clan etc. he kinda put me off, fat lazy bastard. its a fantastic game, very good fun and totally immersive. total waste of time Kaizoe: Ugh... Why are people playing W.o.W.? You have very little story, nothing of what you do is effecting the game world, and the only reason to do anything is to get better stuff (that you can't really loose), and when you got the stuff that is teh s!ht, there is no real reason to continue. And this is how most MMOs are, the only one I know that is breaking the fold is EVE Online where you have no set roll. You adapt your ship for whatever it is you want to do. The end game of EVE is to... well, EVE is what you make it. In the world of EVE you also have to keep looking behind you as there is always people out to get you, either by scamming the market, or by just shooting you for no real reason. flashie: how much does eve cost to play? i agree wow has its flaws. my mate got his burnin crusade mage up to lv70, but never joined a clan and didnt have hardly any decent gear so was a bit of a lame duck. i thought having a warlock sucked after ages of playing when rogues can just murk you from no where it seemed. i tried playing a rogue char afterwards but am too old i think, you need expert dexterity it seemed. Kaizoe: 15 a month, and you download it from the site (eveonline.com), if you want too, you can buy the game and get a month free. You will start with a trail of 14 days, or 21 if someone sends a buddy link by mail. You can also by subscription with ingame money in the ingame market. | Games Chat Room Similar Conversations |
