coffee lovers I have an unhealthy addiction to Sugar-free Hazelnut Lattes. ![]() My favorite coffees come from small farms on the Big Island of Hawaii. I like it straight. I had arabic coffee, it was strong, sweet and a small cup like espresso. I like coffee with espresso in it. I had vietnamese coffee too, it was similar to espresso too, sort of. I like to put chocolate soy milk in my coffee at home. My favourite is a bean from the Bolivian Yungas, roasted dark (city), ground fine, and pressed through the Aerobie Aeropress as an espresso-like shot. I then add an equal amount of hot water to make a strong Americano. Stir in a little sugar and it's good to go! I'm currently mixing a Colombian bean with a Papua New Guinean one (Jamaica Blue Mountain knockoff) before roasting, but I think I actually prefer the straight Bolivian Yungas. For coffee-house fare I'm happy enough with a starbucks americano. And I'll take instant coffee like a medicine if I'm missing my daily 2pm coffee! ;-) Anyway: black with a little sugar! Cheers. Cheers indeed, fellow coffee fiends. I think I'll go ahead and have that first cup. I would rather have coffee in the morning than food. I use a range of coffee and I only use whole beans. Jamaican Blue Mountain,Hawaiian Kona and Costa Rican are my favorites. Italian espresso is another. The coffee shop I deal with gets the real thing,Nothing like going into a coffee store. You walk in and on the counter sits a old medical set of triple beam scales. (The hippies back in the 60s and 70s use to use these types of scales for cutting pot and other assorted illegal substances.) Accurate to a 1/100 of a gram, So you know your getting exactly what your paying for. And at the cost of some of this coffee, its almost like buying drugs. I like the coffee straight with nothing. To have to add anything is like when I go back to the midwest (Oklahoma/Texas)and order a steak. Its the ultimate insult to a cook if he sees your pouring A-1 or 57sauce on your steak. lol I like my coffee like my women, stimulating, keeps me going for hours, and there's always a new pot when this one runs out ![]() I like my coffee like I like my Men - Eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of a Civet cat. Yes, I've had the Jamaican Blue and Hawaiian Kona too, and they're pretty good. I really loved a brand called Hair Raiser Coffee, and I wonder what happened to that company. I've recently moved to the middle of nowhere, so it's hard to get exotic brands of coffee. Most of the time I can only get Starbucks or store brands. Although lately I've been drinking Folgers because I ran out of coffee for my french press one day (two weeks ago), and I had the worst time of it. Headaches, couldn't focus, concentrate back aches. It was horrible. Today is the first day since I've stopped drinking french press coffee where I actually feel normal. It's still hard, and I miss the dark and oily taste from the press. I suppose I will drink real coffee this winter when it's snowing again, but I'm taking a break for the summer. I'm a hard core coffee drinker. I actually hate ![]() hey all um big fan of coffee and caffeine cant decide was the best one for high caffeine boost out of redbull /monster and rest anyone knows ta Ha karma. I like my coffee like my women, black, thick and full bodied, with a strong odor. I like my coffee like I like my Men - Tied in a burlap sack and hauled down a mountain by a burro. You're making me stretch my imagination. I like my coffee like my woman, it keeps me up makes me need to poop. | Food Chat Room Similar Conversations |
