PureSilver67: Yes

if we are the "most intelligent" species, why is it that we have created an existence where we have to work so much ... most other species eat, sleep, have sex and play ... not much work and especially none in the middle of the day! lol

vivv_00: humans not existing on earth, i do not think, would hurt anything in the least. the earth existed long before we did. and will exist after humans become extinct. unless, of course something powerful enough to destroy the planet along with humans occurs. ya never know.

VanillaRoyale: There was a great documentary on the History Channel on January 21, 2008 called "Life After People", I found a copy of it on Ebay and loved it. I highly recommend you watch it. The program does not speculate on how humanity may disappear, only that it has, and that it has done so suddenly, leaving everything behind including household pets and livestock that have to fend for themselves. The series' episodes thematically offer examples of structural and biological decay focusing on specific locations (such as religious icons, bridges and dams, and government buildings), and the fate of certain related objects (such as artifacts, documents and human bodies). The fate of specific kinds of flora and fauna are covered as well.

vivv_00: yes. do you not agree that the ever-increasing human population is helping to destroy the health of the planet? the impact of population is HUGE, & should not be dismissed. yet, no one will address the issue. why? because "god' gives us all our babies, and even if we can`t afford to care for them, so what, we`ll live in horrible poverty anyway???? we`ll have more because of the baby mortality rate is up??? because government handout money HAS to be given for free???

wargypsi2014: There are a few countries with population control. Only allowed one to three depending which country. Anyhow there are many highways forever without a person I'm sure we are a disease to the planet if we refuse to take care of it.

Asiababe: The country with biggest population is China and the environment here is destroyed.. Forests almost all gone. Whole mountains dug out. Air and water are filthy. And people just dont care, they continue to pollute, they just drop rubbish in the street, use coal for power generation... I could go on. When the biggest group of people has this attitude I think the world is doomed.
