LoisS: Good to hear you found something that helps to calm the nerves and helps Good deal!
I just finished watching SNL. First lets say hands down to Jim Carrey Maya Rudolph and Alec Baldwin for that whole recreation. I dont catch snl too much anymore but when its a host I like or really good political goings on in the world and you know they will be addressing it on the show, I like to check it out, or at least the highlights.
Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, "AllState guy" clip was hilarious. I was waiting for more jokes about Rudy Giuliani and his "tuck" but that News interview had me dying. Enjoyed it. Dave Chappelle's monologue in the beginning was pretty awesome. You really do forgive him for the more serious approach he comes with when delivering his spew. Both funny and thought provoking. I love this guy. Im sure I could blab more but I will spare you lols.

Maybe he pays the fine before hand for smoking indoors?

cloudygrey33: Yeah --- SNL is kinda getting good again! I was kind of out of watching it for several years but I think the quality is getting better again! I love Chappelle too! He has always been deep... Part philosopher and part comedian... Blab away! I love it! Hey if you're Chappelle I guess you can smoke wherever ya' want!

LoisS: Yes same here. I stopped watching years ago but I will tune in if I hear its someone I havent seen in a long time. The last few I saw (not in there order) have been entertaining and even some of the skits havent been too bad. I usually will watch the opening monologue and then dip lols. Speaking of , they let Chappelle talk for a while eh. I like the fact that he is deep and there are not to many comedians that you like to hear actually talk aside from doing their bits ya know. He is definitely one of them for sure. and lols @ his town taking him to court for being "too loud" in a corn field. Never mind the money he was generating for his/their town.

I remember watching an Anniversary comedy special and Steve Harvey told a story about how after a show, some of the boys would stand around and talk and smoke some cigars in a non smoking area. Of course they were fined and it came to a point where I think he said Bernie Mac was like, "fuck it" and lets pay the fine before we smoke lolol (Its not verbatim but you get the point. If you have the money, you can just pay the damn fine and enjoy your smoke )

cloudygrey33: Lois-- Same here exactly with how I watch SNL. I tune in for people I'm interested in. And I often dip out after monologue too...I'll watch the music if I like the band too. That's true re: the fines! ha! Must be nice, right? ;-D

Mystie-- Thanks my friend! I won't. I was just reminiscing and got tempted when I saw that comedian. lol I miss it sometimes, but I quit for my grandma basically before she passed. So she keeps me on the right track.
