Catfish galore?

Metaverseguy: I look at all the women's profiles and most look like supermodels. Wish it was the same when I was at the supermarket or running errands. But come on I'm not stupid how can 75% or more of the women on this site look like supermodels? I know they're using fake pics.

What percentage do you think are fake vs. real?

LoisS: They dont have to use fake pics, they also use awesome filters (that I need to invest in) that make people look hella younger or flaw free, skinnier, bigger booty and boobs, taller, smaller feet, no more triple chin or blemish. Its an amazing world some of them live in....

LoisS: There are all kinds of them. Even one you dont have to put makeup on, it does it for you....You can video and filter your face also. The filters are very High tech I tell ya.....

LaurenCosplays: I know it's changing the topic a little, but i legit shout at the tv when watching this! How can you say you've been in a relationship for over a year when you've only chatted by messenger??

ScarlettKnight: Oh that's normal these day's. People only chat and say they are in a relation or engaged. Never seen each other but... yeah. Personally I think it's a mental illness but who knows.

LoisS: I feel sometimes people are just lonely. The hopes in which the person on the other end is "real" or who they say they are is a chance they are willing to take. Red flags go up but just like in offline life....they are ignored for the moment of feeling good. Its not just with romance, this happens with people who you think are your "online friends" and they turn out to be some crazy nut case with some other agenda aside from having a few laughs. Can get pretty scary...

ScarlettKnight: I get the lonely, but.. at least cam each other and don't call it a relationship, it's not in anyway.

LaurenCosplays: Cannot see any situation where, if taking it seriously, I could call it a relationship if I couldn't meet up face to face.

An online chat buddy, sure. But they were actually breaking up real life relationships over some fantasy chat thing!!

Metaverseguy: I was watching Catfish on MTV today. Fun idea but almost every episode is identical. One person uses fake photos and lies about everything then they catch them in the lie.

LoisS: Well ya, that's kind of the concept of the word and show .
