Does Age Matter?

Intimacy4U: What is more important, the love you share in your heart with another or the age compatibility.. Does age matter if one partner is younger but has the maturity of an old soul?

funkindancinmusic_24: Whatever we as people can say yes or no to this. We can only with great difficulty take away what the majority think. Age really shouldn't matter, yet for a lot of women (not all) it does. Just like Height.

I think when you have a Spiritual connection, a Friendship and a Maturity of the Younger person in the Relationship and the Patience of the Older person in the Relationship then, It has a chance like any other Relationship as long as there is Love involved..

AmiBabi2: Age is just a number but for me I’m 38 an I prefer older guys. Younger does nothing for me, an I mean that as in I don’t feel I have anything in common with younger an have nothing to talk to them about.

qsi_investigations: To a point age does matter I have two daughters and the oldest is 26 I am 47 so I could never date anyone her age unless it was the end of the world then I could make an exception with the girls permission

qsi_investigations: Your right with the numbers 18 is legal I guess for me it’s just a judgement call plus I don’t think anyone that young would go for a guy as old as me that’s kinda gross

qsi_investigations: I also agree to that age doesn’t matter if there is love. After all love is love and it doesn’t discriminate, judge or dictate. Love is patient love is kind it boasts not. And though there are many levels and kinds of love I think if we all tried a little bit of it maybe we would be better off in this world

I know people that have like 30 years between them but the woman was 61and the guy was 30 they had kids and were married until they both past away the woman first and the guy never remarried he loved her that much. They had a business together, the whole 9 yards. They were both old enough to make their own mind up. So I’m not talking about dating kids so get your mind out of the gutter.
