refurbwoodart: Lelo my ex told me about 6 months after my divorce she didn't realize how good a guy I really am and her taste just changed and she felt terrible that things changed but she knew as good a man I am that another woman would be more than glad to be with me if she got to know me. Would you lil her number to call and ask. She was from Miami or grew up there at least. She was born about an hour from here and now lives a couple of counties over from me down on the coast. I'm up in the panhandle. I'm willing to take time to get to know you no matter where it goes where that be friendship,more or we just crash and burn. I dont make statements like that lightly but for a woman that ask that question on an open forum is a woman who honestly wants something very meaningful. Just a suggestion hun take it or not.

refurbwoodart: Lois I've had a tough recovery from a bad motorcycle wreck so I haven't been able to get out much. Plus the finance my money hasn't been stable for the first time in my life and I'm not comfortable dating or getting into a relationship without having a steady stable income hun.

lelo7082: My topic choice was because lately I have been encountered that some of my classmates comments about guys that acted like intelligent, down to earth, with enough common sense to realized how to address to a woman. But what they found has been only weirdos with stupid fetishes, guys that started asking for money, guys that have emotional problems, guys that they do not know were to stand in relation to their exes, guys that they say that they want to have a relationship and after a brief "hello and "how are you" they disappeared.. so I was wondering..

refurbwoodart: Well Lelo my experience since my divorce is only been when I look fir ladies in mt age range is ladies who want an affair or either they have substance abuse problems. That can be drinking,drugs or some sort of issue that causes them to just assume every guy is just someone to buy them things or a form of income. What I want is a woman who wants me simply for me and doesn't want or need something from me but wants only the company I offer and honesty and the security that provides. When I got married I had money saved in the bank,a new truck,a new motorcycle both paid for,a great income my house nearly paid off,a good retirement fund saved I had lots to offer for a woman's financial security and I had everything to give emotionally. However due to the way things have turned I have lots to share with a woman but I dint have the financial security that I had then. I'm working on it again but its tougher being older and somewhat limited in some of the things I can do physically. I'm still confident and I'm the same guy,but that blanket of security isn't there to cover me should something else happen. So its like a new ball game to me now.

refurbwoodart: No she didn't get half she just left but my money was gone after a couple of years of being in recovery and when I told her she was going to have to start paying some of the bills all of a sudden she wasn't happy anymore and we had a horrible relationship and she wanted to find something that was better. No she didn't leave with half but by that time I only had my stuff that was paid for and stuff she couldn't sue me for so it would have been a waste of time for us both. So she just left.

refurbwoodart: Well you find out what people are really about when times get tough thats for sure. One good thing is if a woman were to take me now at least I would know she isn't only out for material gains.
