Personally, I find it interesting to get an idea as to how people in other countries react to similar situations, as in the USA. Why on earth would you think that anyone would be, "sick and tired"" , of IKR's point of view?????
It is always great to get a new perspective...and that is precisely what she is giving.

As a matter of fact, IKR, I watched a documentary on you Brits, and it was about precisely that...about how you guys are sort of disconnected and don't really care, or get into each other's business...even though you kinda sorta know what's going on.
So, it stands to reason that you would adopt that attitude towards interracial dating.

Also, as the world falls apart, it is scary to see on what, Americans place priority!

I had a coworker who told me emphatically during a discussion that she wants a son to marry a white person, because he is white.
Was I angry or insulted? NOT AT ALL! That is her preference for her son.Perhaps she was brought up to believe that people should not marry/date out of their race.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with that, at all.
Some black people have a total meltdown at the thought of their children choosing a white person as their life's partner....and they are usually very vocal in their opposition.....AND NO ONE CALLS THEM RACIST.

The point that I am making is that there is no racism involved.
People might disagree with one's choice...and that's fine...THAT'S THEIR PROBLEM.

PEOPLE JUST NEED TO BUTT OUT OF THE BUSINESS OF OTHERS AND JUST LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES.. It's as simple as that.
What satisfies you and makes them happy might not have the same effect on you.

We are all grown folk and know what we like...and what we like/love...DOES NOT ALWAYS LOOK LIKE US....and that's all good, as far as I am concerned.
