Its really nice deacon7771: "Insatiable Women, wives who stray and the men who love them" by David Ley. So far, it seems very boring and bland to me, not at all what the title would seem to suggest, I hope it gets better, I am very interested in the subject of the book, but the book itself is just.... well boring so far. DakotaTravesty: That does sound good.. why couldn't they follow the title up with a stunning story?? Why Why Why Delilah? toofarfollyfish: Wit'ch Fire by James Clemens. Picked it up in a charity shop for 20 pence (along with the other 4 books in the series for a grand total of £1) thinking it didn't matter if it wasn't great since it didn't cost much.. turns out, possibly one of my best bargains ever. Quality fantasy epic so far. deacon7771: I spoke (or wrote) too soon with regard to "Insatiable Women, wives who stray and the men who love them" by David Ley. It started out a bit boring, but my oh my, it does get better. The book is surprisingly well researched, and offers very interesting ideas and the reasons women stray. There are very real biological reasons and surprising benefits from this behavior. I am actually beginning to think that "polyandry" (a woman having multiple male lovers) is actually the natural and most healthy lifestyle. The monogamous paradigm we all just accept as the right way is more of a myth than we might think and this is being proved more and more with DNA paternity tests. gregkob: Journeyman by Sean Pronger.Sean write about being a journeyman hockey player.A very good read for hockey fans | Books Chat Room Similar Conversations |
