Apart from the obvious primary school books and such, the first 'adult' book I read was Of Mice And Men, still of of my all time favourites.

apart for the obvious primary school books and such ,the very first ADULT book i read was East of Eden.and the last was A leap into Quantam physics............excellant reading!!!!

non-fiction : t lobsang rampa's "you-forever" (it woke me up).
fiction - lord of the flies (william goldsomething?) (that woke me up too - in another way.

Im sure if I mention 'Abe' and 'Kampung Boy' only fellow M'sian ever heard of it... heh.

The Eyes of the Dragon by Steven King, older sister recommended it to me for some reason when I was in 2nd grade and getting into the Harry Potter books.

I guess the first book I ever read was Swan Song by Robert Mccammon...anyone familiar with him?
