Beware Dog Owners

jink88: I watched a show on our CBC station called MarketPlace. The subject was on dog treats made in China esp. chicken jerky treats. Some ingredient in them causes dog's kidneys to shutdown and can be fatal. Personally I would stay away from any animal treats made in China.

xox G xox: We get so much crap products that are made in China/Asia its becoming increasingly hard to buy goods *insert own country here* products.

Hemsford: When Bebe got sick I checked all of her food, but it was all made in the US. Now I make sure before I buy anything that it's US made.

~LoisLane~: My aunt sent me an article about this same thing. I wouldnt eat any product anymore from there, nor would I give anything to my pet from there. You just dont know what people are stuffing in pet food these days, never mind human food.

Hyenablood: we make all of katie's treats, very very simple recipe. We even give them out as gifts for friends because we have so much.
the treats only have 3 or 4 ingredients in them, all health and good, and the dog loves it !!

Hyenablood: sure, I'd have to talk to my mom, it's a very simple recipe, you may have to go out and buy one ingredient, but I know it calls for penubutter (wow I can't spell today). I'll post it when I get it.
