ONLINE CHATTING uglybetty1: The show "Catfish", as we as an episode of Dr. Phil in online predators really opened my eyes. When did sincerity die? Why can't people try a litte honesty? i chatted with someone for a year ad asksed all of the sensible questions such as: Are you a mental patient; inmate; really a male;are you who you say you are? The person was really nice but got angry when I asked to see another pic of "Him". He allegedly was: mute, autistic, ex-drug addict, cancer-ridden, daily dialysis, diabetes, bouts of vomiting, miseading about iwhat he did, where he lived, Was i chatting with a chick? A troll? A serial killer? We had enjoyable conversation but there was still air of deception which blanketed the whole "friendship" . Interesting....but spooky at the same time...... I  On Angels Wings: That guy seems to suspicious. To much wrong with him and no other pics? Maybe he's married? IDK Women have to be careful. Several pics first then web search on them before I spend any time. Good luck Betty and be safe. uglybetty1: Thannk you for your concern Angel. i was really disappointed to lose him/her I would hate to think that i was reeled in like a catfish! We had daily chats and I felt like I really knew him ...until he woud go crazy when I asked to see another pic of him...he would threaten to stop chatting (and yes, i id say, "dude, that's your prerogative"....but he would apologize and say that he woud think about it.. Did i get my chain yanked? Maybe! Am i always fuly aware that this is cyberworld and everyone is a ceo, royalty and loving in a mansion? Yes, I am! He never clained to be any of those....just the opposite, in fact he portrayed himself as being almost homeless...the errant wanderer. I hate doubting people but I shall take your sound advice and websearch some of these people before i get into longterm chat. PS...
