The giant midget: One wife that's up by 430 am preps kids lunches, puts dirty clothes in washer , empty the dishwasher, travel 1 hourl to work , babysit 180 full grown construction men some just dramaqueens for 10 hours , get home to shower , cook , empty washed clothes into dryer , dinner Waters MoneyTree in the backyard so the kids can harvest its fruits everyday and to pay cleaning lady twice a week alongside the landscape and snow guy That's my ideal wife On my own being the mom / dad for my kids past 20 years no easy but I would not change it for anything (Edited by The giant midget)  Indie_dad: I can cook, clean, do laundry and any other domestic work. I don't need a wife to replace the mother from my youth. I want a wife to be a companion in life. Be an equal partner. If each partner isn't doing their part it won't work. That said, equality can look different in each case. And life can bring changes that can tip the scale of equality in some things. If one partner has a life altering situation then the other may be left carrying more of the responsibilities of day to day life. That doesn't mean there can not be equality. Just means the other partner needs to find a different way to contribute. |
