If it makes you feel any better, I also occasionally wear band-shirts and jeans... because they're comfortable, and I like music. Personally, I don't follow any trends... I wear whatever I damn well please. When I referred to myself as "Punk Rock Cowboy", it was a facetious remark, and you failed to see the irony. The term "punk" in itself means to not follow trends (and I'm certainly no cowboy). The only true punks were The Sex Pistols and the Ramones... once people turned it into a trend, the term "punk" as a label lost all meaning. I mean, look at me... does it look like I'm following some kind of trend?? And the hat was a rare find... I spent years looking for a shiny black leather Mexican hombre style hat like this. Leather is NOT trendy at the moment. I stick out like a sore thumb when I dress like this, and Vegans shout "Murderer!" at me. LOL Do I give a flying f**k? No, I do not. It's comfortable, and the cow-hyde protects my own hyde when I ride my Hog. The opinionated Vegans can go f**k themselves. If anything, that's what the true "punk" attitude is all about... not sticking safety pins in your face and giving yourself a purple Mohawk. I wear it because I like it... women tell me I look damn good in it. Incidentally, I frickin' hate country music. I listen to everything from Motorhead to Mozart... because I like it.
