Steve "Machine Gun" Smith of Journey is excellent and the nickname says it all, the beats just roll, Alex Van Halen is awesome, saw him doing the killer solo at a Van Halen concert, his drumming helped elevate him and the set off the ground, but the original rock drummer is definitely John Bonham, so meticulous in his craft, John Bonham Moby Dick, and Bonzo's Montreaux. But the title of drummers who also sing can go to Phil Collins, awesome soloist, and Kelly Keagey jims33123: Not a big Rush fan here, but I saw them last year from the 3rd row.
