I haven't had much of a chance to listen to others...  ♥Nana chan ♥: I listen to-Kuraki Mai and Be4u They have nice songs !!! i recommend you to listen to-Nakashima Mika , Sasaki Yuko , Kokia And if you want to know more singers you can see in my club many pictures of many good singers Raven: Orange Range is pretty good too. Fantastic voice, execution and overall ability. I like Freddie Mercury, Jon Anderson & Mikael Akerfeldt as well. struanrobertson02: If you like Corey, you'll probably love Mikael Akerfeldt. Dude has better growls and better singing, he's also one helluva guitarist and songwriter. Brilliant, brilliant man. struanrobertson02: Slipknot had a time when it was decent, when it should of been a temporary sound in music, this was the 1999-2001 time, from their self titled Slipknot album and the Iowa album. Quite good, but gets borong pretty fast IMO. Slipknot is like all Nu-Metal bands that scream Emo, it's where they get their fame from, depressed teens and alike. But when you've passed this shadowed stage of life, you will see that their is much more interesting music and style, meaning and quality lyricism out there, E.g. Porcupine Tree, Mars Volta and Violent Femmes. But whenever people are finished with Nu-Metal, I say they should try out Tool and Opeth, they are the go to bands for people who search for more interesting yet familliar styled music. I say familliar because they still have screaming, growls and heavy riffage but are much more diverse in sound. struanrobertson02: Ian Gillan & Maynard James Keenan. I also dig Todd Rundgren, his singing on "I Saw The Light" is so, so beautiful, it makes any Journey song look like satanic stuff lol. Ronnie James Dio, Layne Staley, Mikael Akerfeldt, Chris Cornell are up there as well. struanrobertson02: Maynard is amazing. His lyrics are some of the best in all of music as well. My favourite singers are Devin Townsend, Ian Anderson, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Layne Staley, Michael Jackson, Chris Cornell, Kate Bush, Freddie Mercury, Greg Lake and Prince.
