(Page 5) OwinCKs: i think "final destination" ... very cool and damn sure make ur heartbeart stop a beat .. haha... hmm. is supernatural is included in horror type ? if so, i think supernatural also great horror movie .. it makes me addicted to it .. huh~ lavendar_star: I agree patti, death can strike any of us at anytime and that is scary in itself, plus it was quite a original and a good film patti1965: goood point!! lavender?? It was an orginal... ok....this one may be tooo old fr some of u? But..'Carrie' gave me the chills!!! lavendar_star: Yeahatti I agree I thing the real horror was crazy mum and teen girls bullying and then climax at the end, a true classic patti1965: ok lavender...we need a movie night!! lol Popcorn and all!!!! is that time of year? smiling!!! lavendar_star: A classic patti: hated the remakes- new horrors apart from the Asian horrors dont really have hid behind the sofa feel about them. patti1965: i dnt like remakes either...never seem to have the same 'Scream' factor...and ..the 'why the hell are u going in there?' feeling..lol lavendar_star: Hiya, Pattie, here is another classic for you, I don't know why but 70s horror age well compared to 80s horrors, I know this isn't the scariest or the bloodiest, but it’s the atmospheric the whole devil going to get u thing and of course the soundtrack; another thing modern horrors cant seems to capture well. Also scary kids a stable of the horror genre and this is the daddy of them all. Lol lavendar_star: Wish we could show a actual clip or two but now this site is for children, even though most kids have seen horror film by the age 11 or 12 I know I did lol patti1965: omgosh!! I totally forgot about that one, lavender?? and it sent chills down my spine, mostly because they were children. I am addicted to the music scores in the older films too!! Somehow they always enhanced the experience!! I will have to check out..'the loved ones' never saw that one either? patti1965: Amityville Horror... the 'original' Dont LOVE the glowing red eyes or the rocking chair?? and it was a true story!!! Even WORSE?? solitary me: The Thing ----- Could it be the fear of complete isolation in the face of disaster? Or the invisible enemy in sub-zero temperatures? How about the terrifying feeling of not knowing which of your supposed friends and colleagues are who they say they are, and not a shape-shifting alien? Yeah, all those things. Memorable quote: “Somebody in this camp ain't what he appears to be. ” (Edited by solitary me) Dammit: Cujo....was nearly attacked by a rabid shar-pei when i was 18. learned allot about adrenaline that day escobarbutch: the exorcist is so DANG scaryyy haha lets go old school n a movie that always give me the creeps anyone every seen "IT" i hate clowns cause of that movie | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
