A movie that really makes me jump is a movie that just keeps you on edge and doesn't let go, like movies with zombies to me are really scary because they take forever to kill soo... maybe resident evil 1 not 2. also the grudge 2 and the hills have eyes. when come to torture movies, Saw 1 2 3! msteeq: I saw Saw 3 and that movie really creaped me out. It was real gross too. All that blood and everything. luigi69: Some of the movies that i can think of off the top of my head are Saw 1,2 &3 I loved all of them. I thought the Grudge was a freaky movie, part 2 was ok, but the first one was good. I also love The Hills have eyes 1&2, the both of them were great maplovr: Saw 1 and 2 have pretty awesome but 3 really isnt that good, there was alot of blood and shit but the story was not that cool. horror movies arent just about the blood and guts is gotta have a good story too. The new halloween looks pretty ill, and since rob zombie directed it it should be pretty badass. Now high tension is a sweet ass movie, its french made but is dubbed in english, and its well done. It has a awesome story and lots of blood! Thats like the movie of the year in my house. STEEL01: I love a good horror Movie. I really want to go see the New Halloween Movie. I loved the Rob Zombie movie called House of a 1000 Corpses!!! It was a great horror movie and the hills have eyes 1&2 I loved them too!!! James.Tyler: There is one film i've watched called Darkwolf and the film is very intense with the blood and the characters who get killed by this beast in LA and you know you really got to act the role you're playing in very good to get the right angle. lol you know it's not that making a horror film all has to be about s^* and drug use lol. it's all about making it good and horroific! the directors get a little notice how much performance your putting into this film yuour doing and then when he thinks you done a good job on the scene will will cut all the rest that were not so good and replace it with the good one you made. lol i just think making movies is a great thing for actors lol groovymama24: I like scary movies even the classic's I mean Nightmare on Elm Street series, Poltergiest, Amityville, Excorcist, Saw, Cube, and Childs Play. I have even more scary movies that would take forever to write down. I love them all.
Classic_Film_Lover: hello to everyone involved with this scary movie club..i just joined this site and i'm not exactly sure how all this works..but i'd like to say that i love horror movies..and i'd like also to say that i just watched a really good one recently,an oldie from the 70s called THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD...has anyone seen this, does anyone know the outcome to the ending..does Marcia Curtis eventually get caught..if anyone has read the book or see the film..they'll know who Marcia Curtis is..anyway..yep i'm a horror fan and if anyone wants to chat about them with me..please feel free to drop me a line..thanx. Classic_Film_Lover: hey...here's another good one...John Carpenters'THE FOG(1979)starring Adrienne Barbeau,Jamie Lee Curtis & Janet Leigh.
this is a very scary horror movie about a small seaside town that's attacked by a bunch of phantom pirates..this is a really good classic horror from the 70s and a features a very scary soundtrack by John Carpenter as well.
i'll keep you all posted with more horror movies...when i see them. writermann29: Well, If you want to talk John Carpenter then The Thing has to be the best movie that he ever did. If you haven't seen it you have to go out and pick it up.
mcs90:
I like horror movies but few have me scared. One that really me scared is The Exorcist. Asian horror films are great; I especially liked Audition. And I also like Stephen King movies like Misery and The Shining because although there aren't any scary monsters they still got me grtting my teeth.
heartfeltland: www.cinesmart.net i helpfull you can watch free movie . But some links dead you can find horror movie. If you didn't see stay alive and P2 great movie (horror) recommend from me :-) follow the website. have fun. robot87956:
The Exorsist (also the 3rd exorsist is good)

The Texas Chain Saw Massacare (the remake) made me jump a fair bit

Donny Darco (messed up film)

The Blair Witch Project (I hate to go camping and look into the woods at night in the pitch dark wondering if anyone is watching me)
Just_Silly_Me: Hi all horror fanatics like myself...I'm a newbie to this site so here goes... The Exorcist will always be my top classic pick... The Grudge movie, after what felt like any eternity of bad horror flicks, gave me that spine-chilling feel...ofcourse having watched it alone in complete darkness helped... I would recommend to anyone who hasn't seen The Descent, to watch it! I was surprised at how good of a thriller it was. The film starts out a bit slow, the goodness begins after they realize they are not alone in the cave. Ryderlyric0507: I loved Night of the Living Dead (black and white), the original Texas Chainsaw Mascre...I liked all 4 Saw's but thought that the first 2 were the best. The new Halloween movie was good but I still like the old ones better. I am just a fan of the originals I guess. Ryderlyric
Venice21: i loved saw 4 it tied up all the loose ends left in the first three, they still dont beat my all time favourite film The Lost Boys. ladyangelhughes: l also love a good movie..saw is great and i have not yet seen one that will make me jump lol...the hills have eyes was also a good movie..but cant wait to see the eye,,, | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
