Tattoos in the Work Place Aubus: When I was first hired at my job, my interviewer was covered with tattoos from neck down to her feet. She's been fired and I am the only one heavily tattooed in the office. I still get the looks, ooohs, and ahhs. How about you guys?  lois_lane: As long as your good at your Job Who the hell cares about tattoos. MAn what is this the 80's. Sometimes dress code is dress code and you have to cover up. The stigma that tattoos have I think are only left in the minds of the older people these days. To me it looks like people get tattoos to be cool now and not just cuz they like the work. MEH I think its crazy to be judged on these things but its the world we live in you know ☼...Logan...☼: Down here in New Zealand... Tatts r the norm, u see girls & women of all ages (over 15yrs...lol) with them....on the arms, up the sides of the legs, u name it their showing ink there....& im MY opinion its pretty cool. I went to a High School to c my niece, & i freaked out to c boys in school uniform rockin tatts all up theyre arms.. But Hey!..Who r we to judge others & how they choose to mark their own bodies...Once its on its there 4Life, unless u get it lasered off ... I have 3...Lower Back, side of my lft hand, & Back of my Neck... Am trying to be cool or look cool...... pffffffttt! ...HELL NO!!!!!! I dont give a shit what anyone else thinks, I did it for my own reasons... & I'll get another one done, a culutral band around my right leg just above my knee cap...Damn Straight! ....Tattoos Rock  JohnnyFan: I have two tattoos, one above each ankle. I love them and love showing them off. Unfortunately I teach at a very conservative private school, so they have to stay covered. My view is that if I can do my job, and do it well, why should I have to hide my tats? They don't affect my ability to do my job. singlnlvnit: I have 8 tatts & no one ever sayz anything i'm in Colorado & so many ppl here r cover'd w/ink ~ it iz the norm her az well. I love all mine & like u all said ~ it aint the 80's & more ppl have learned to accept this more. Plus they are addicting
