It has been revealed that a special tournament is to take place in the Pokémon Centers. To tie in with these tournaments, and in the time around it, various Pokémon with their Mega Stones are to be distributed to players with sets aimed to help you get into battle immediately. They are all Level 50.

From May 10th to May 18th, a Gyarados with Waterfall, Earthquake, Ice Fang, Dragon Dance and holding Gyaradosite is to be given.

From May 19th to May 25th, a Scizor with Bullet Punch, Swords Dance, Roost, U-Turn and holding Scizorite is to be distributed.

From May 26th to June 1st, a Kangaskhan with Fake Out, Return, Earthquake, Sucker Punch and holding Kangaskhanite is to be distributed.

From June 2nd to June 8th, a Gengar with Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Will-o-Wisp, Destiny Bond and holding Gengarite is to be distributed.

From June 9th to June 15th, a Tyranitar with Stone Edge, Crunch, Earthquake, Ice Punch and holding Tyranitarite is to be distributed.

Finally, from June 16th to June 22nd, a Mawile with Iron Head, Play Rough, Fire Fang, Sucker Punch and holding Mawilite is to be distributed.

In one week, it is reported that Nintendo will shut the doors on their networks for Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii servers in want to focus more on their 3DS and Wii U networks.

You all have one week to migrate any and all of your Pokemon far back as generation ||| to Pokemon X and Y.

The Bank and Transfer apps for the Nintendo 3DS are currently free.

Premier Balls have a minor glitch to them. When one is thrown, and if it's your last, Poké Ball D, and if the target is a Legendary Pokémon, it will have a 8x catch rate.

In the status screen for Pokémon, and seen in trades and in the box, you may have noticed a blue pentagon next to your Pokémon. The meaning of this had yet to be determined, but has been revealed today. This pentagon is essentially a hack check confirmation. If your Pokémon has this, it confirms it was obtained legitimately in-game or through event. If not, then it has an error and has been hacked.

::: Pokémon Designer Ken Sugimori Talks About 7th Generation :::


Pokémon designer Ken Sugimori commented in an interview for a magazine some plans for the seventh generation of Pokémon games, which can be summed up in one word, "simplicity".

He commented that they will not add more layers of complexity, but rather revert back to simplicity by using elements found in Pokémon Red and Green (or Blue). In addition, Sugimori commented that Pokémon designs could be simplified as well.

He also revealed the challenge in designing new Pokémon, in which every Pokémon that appears in every game must be brand new. This is why that after they already made Pokémon designs inspired on common animals, they make designs inspired by wild animals.

Lastly, he revealed that his favorite Pokémon of all time is Gengar.

Several details of potential new games have been showcased in a special focusing on The Pokémon Company CEO Ishihara.

The first is a download title following on the Pokémon Trozei series. The second is a detective title where you partner with Pikachu to solve crimes and features a rare Blue Pikachu. Both are early in development cycle and may not come to pass.
