PolaParis: I have no respect for bestsellers but Midnight by Dean R. Koontz was an amazing surprise, I highly recomended if you have an strong visual imagination, not to say it has interesting views on human nature and one of the finest endings I had read so far.

chronology: Polaparis. Koontz can tell a good story. His 'Demon-seed' (first edition) was visionary of the Internet. You can only hope the Guys who build the Internet never build anything like Proteus. But creating the first truly 'Artificial Intelligence' is the Holy Grail of all computer Experts.
