HULK vs. THOR HotKaren69: THOR AND THE HULK USED TO BE EVEN IN STRENGTH; MAYBE THOR WAS A LITTLE STRONGER. BUT RECENTLY MARVEL HAS TRIED TO MAKE THOR LOOK LIKE A WIMP COMPARED TO THE HULK. WHAT DOES EVERYONE THINK OF THE RECENT FLOOD OF MARVEL SUPERHERO MOVIES? Test_Eagle: I think the superhero movies are great. Sometimes I wish they would stay more honest to the comics, but its just great to see the marvel characters come to life on the big screen. And lets be realistic, when making a movie, how do you decide what part of the characters history to put in it? With 30 years of back stories, its impossible to put it all in one movie. The good thing is is that new generations of readers are getting into comics because of the movies, ensuring that comics will stay alive for many more years yet. Test_Eagle: Thor is strong, no doubt about it, but the Hulk is rage personified and should keep getting stronger as he gets madder, putting no limits on his strength. Hulk should really kick everyone's butt. Venom25: WELL I WAS WATCHING A BASEBALL GAME ONE TIME AND THE PITCHER HIT THE BATTER AND THE BATTER GOT SO ANGRY AND CHARGED THE MOUND HE WAS FULL OF RAGE BUT THE PITCHER JUST PICKED HIM UP AND SLAMMED HIM ON THE GROUND... IN THE COMIC BOOKS I GREW UP WITH THOR WAS STRONGER THEN THE HULK AND THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. Test_Eagle: I'm biased towards the Hulk, being one of my favourite characters I've always liked him better then old goldilocks there. And I still believe that his strength should just keep growing as he gets angrier. Blockbuster broke Thor's arm in the the mutant massacre, so really the Hulk should just pulverise him if Blockbuster can do the god of thunder that sort of damage. Juggernaut, Ghost Rider and Wonder Man all have defeated Thor at some stage as well. But lets face it, the story arc will always decide who will win a fight no matter how strong the hero or villian is. How many times have we seen a hero battle a seemingly undefeatable villian and win? white: how can a juiced up monster be stronger than a half god?? really lol all the marvel movies have been fantastic except wolverine i was very disappointed with deadpool DEADPOOL FOR LIFEEEEEE xD Test_Eagle: As I said before, Hulk keeps getting stronger the madder he gets putting no limits on his strength. Thor on the other hand has a limit. And without his Belt of Strength he is only half as strong. Thor relies heavily on these arcane objects. In a toe to toe punch on, Hulk has thrashed the living shit out of Thor, and in the end the only way Thor beats him is to use Mjolnir. So its not really the strength of Thor that beats the Hulk, but the power of his hammer. Test_Eagle: I gotta agree with you on Deadpool in Wolverine. That was a disgrace. The one problem with the movies is when they change origins of characters and even characters themselves for the films. Sometimes you can just ignore it, but in Deadpool's case I think they went to far. Kris: Dont forget (tho sometimes it seems Marvel does) Thors biggest strength is his battle experience. I mean, he's been around for how many thousands of years? But yeah, in the movies, they change stuff that doesnt need changing. (tho costumes, yes lol) Test_Eagle: Looks like I'm the only one backing Hulk. Word from the big green guy is - This make Hulk mad. Hulk smash puny humans who support Thor. Hulk is strongest there is! Vim_Fuago: Actually dont know much about Thor. Now that there is a movie coming out... But still...Hulk is pretty mighty |
