This applied also to sexual exclusivity in men, but not in women. The findings will be published in the March 2010 issue of Social Psychology Quarterly. Gaia: Cheating is an iffy topic. And cheating goes both ways, not just men cheating compared to women. Men and woman both cheat because they are lacking something either in their relationship physically or emotionally. If a woman is constantly bashing the man and making them feel like crap, then they are going to seek that approval else where. If men are treating women like they are crap, then again, they will seek that approval else where. Most of the times too when someone cheats or has an affair, the person they cheat with isn't even as attractive as the person they are already with, so it's not about finding someone "hotter" so to speak, it's usually emotional. And in some cases, the whole manly genetic code of reproducing as much off spring as they can comes into play, it's actually been proven that men will sometimes cheat because somewhere in their brain, a baby making tic is making them want to reproduce, and in great sums too. But the thing that makes people angry is if the man chooses to act on that nature impulse, because when it all bottles down to everything, everyone does have a choice, men and women have a choice if they are going to cheat or not.. Those who choose to stay solid with one person at a time, great, those who don't, seek help.
